Dana Brooke VS Sasha Banks

Good evening and welcome to this evening’s action. We are kicking things off with Dana Brooke and Sasha Banks right now. Dana is out first and she looks ready, her training seems to be paying off as she is in the shape of her life. Now it’s The Boss’s turn to make her way ringside, Sasha showing no intimidation and plenty of swagger. The referee checks with both competitors and calls for the bell, here we go!

They both go for the tie up, Dana immediately overpowers Sasha and backs her up against the turnbuckles in the corner. The ref is calling for the break which Dana complies but not before mockingly patting The Boss on the head, the mind games are starting early. Dana Brooke goes right on the attack throwing a hard forearm but Sasha ducks it in the corner, reversing positions as she assaults Dana in the corner with some mean knife edge chops. Now Sasha is laying the boots in until Dana drops down in the corner, Sasha playing some mind games of her own now as she mocks Dana with her own signature pat on the head. Dana is furious as she picks herself up in the corner and charges, nice drop toe hold by Sasha drops her right on her face. Sasha heads for the ropes as Dana rises to her feet, nice double knees take Dana Brooke down straight into the cover, one, two, kick out from the powerhouse. Sasha goes for the ropes again as Dana picks herself up, springboard arm drag tosses Dana across the ring. Dana crawls to the corner to pick herself up as Sasha lies in wait. The Boss rushes in, ooh, brutal lariat by Dana Brooke almost takes her head off as she hooks Sasha’s leg, one, two, kick out by Sasha Banks. Dana stays on the offensive as she starts to stretch Sasha out with her modified Bow and Arrow hold.

Dana Brooke is in a strong position here as she puts a hurting on her opponent on the mat. The referee is checking on Sasha who isn’t ready to quit just yet. Dana releases the hold and measures Sasha up on the canvas, nice cartwheel elbow to the chest of Sasha and into the cover, one, two, Sasha gets her shoulder up. Dana’s looking to inflict more pain now as she drags Sasha Banks up by the hair and lifts her up over her shoulder, running powerslam, no, Sasha counters with a beautiful tilt a whirl headscissors. Sasha hits the ropes with Dana on her knees, running dropkick right to the side of the head knocks Dana Brooke clean out of the ring to the floor outside. That one rocked her as she looks woozy using the announce table to get back to her feet. Sasha comes off the ropes for added momentum again, Suicide Dive through the ropes. Oh no, Sasha Banks just crashed and burned as Dana Brooke moved out of the way, leaving Sasha to connect with the side of the announce table head first. She might just have knocked herself out there. Like a shark smelling blood Dana moves in for the kill, lifting the limp carcass of Sasha Banks off the floor and tossing her back into the ring.

Back in the ring, Dana crawls onto Sasha to make the cover, one, two, Dana pulls her head off the canvas, wagging her finger as if to say not yet. “You’re not the boss of me Sasha. Playtime’s over!” Dana Brooke pats Sasha Banks on the head then hoists her onto her shoulders, Samoan Driver! Dana hooks the leg but this one’s a formality, one, two, three. Dana Brooke has just knocked Sasha Banks out of the Gold Rush tournament in what many will see as an upset.

Dana: Gimme the microphone Lillian, there’s a good girl. So much for being the boss Sasha, you’re nothing but another silly girl playing games. Like I said to you a few moments ago and this goes out to the rest of you girls left in the tournament, Playtime’s Over! As for you Nikki, see you at the Pay Per View champ. Keep that title nice and shiny for me.

Strong words from Dana Brooke tonight who may just have had her breakout moment. Can she use this victory to springboard her career to title success? Time will tell but coming up next is our last quarter final match up between Aksana and Trish Stratus. See you after the break.
